What We Do
We are non-profit organization that serves the Erie community by providing housing assistance to women (& their children) who are homeless or are facing potential homelessness.
Erie DAWN is not a shelter, but rather a program which aims to assists highly-motivated women gain financial independence while living safely & with dignity.
How Do We Do It?
Every day we aim to make a difference through education, support services & housing placement for our participants.
We educate our participants through financial literacy & life skills programming
We support our participants through case management & advocacy services
We house our participants in Erie DAWN owned housing and Erie DAWN vetted housing through collaborations with local landlords
